An application from the person named was rejected on the 29 January 1979, as it appeared that the work had been completed in June 1977. The closing date for application for grants under the old scheme in respect of work started prior to 1 November 1977, was 31 January 1978, and the application in question was received after that date.
However, the applicant now claims that the work started in December 1977, and the inspector has been asked to investigate the matter further. The application will be re-examined, on receipt of his report.
