asked the Minister for Education when work will start on improvements to Creevagh National School, Carrowmore, Lacken, County Mayo.

Grants have been approved for minimum essential repairs at Creevagh National School and the Office of Public Works has been advised accordingly.

I am not yet in a position to say when work will commence.

266.

asked the Minister for Education when a general purpose room will be sanctioned for Curraboggin National School, Knockmore, County Mayo.

An extension scheme of three classrooms and a general purposes room has been approved by my Department and the Office of Public Works has been asked to proceed with the arrangements as quickly as possible.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the construction of a new central primary school at Carracastle, Ballaghad, County Mayo.

My Department will be in a position to sanction a grant towards the cost of the new school at Carracastle when the local contribution to be provided has been agreed with the school authorities.
