A review was undertaken during the course of the present school-year of the classroom accommodation requirements for pupils of national schools in Killarney and the extent of the accommodation already available. A report of a working party which considered the matter is to be submitted formally to my Department. Pending receipt of a formal submission from the relevant authorities and a full examination of all aspects of the question I am not in a position to make a statement in regard to the proposal for an extension to the Presentation Monastery Schools.
