With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 266 and 267 together. The electoral areas in Dublin County were defined in the Dublin County Council Order, 1979 (S.I. No. 40 of 1979). Each electoral area is composed of a number of whole district electoral divisions and no district electoral division is divided between two or more electoral areas. The district electoral divisions in the county were in turn defined in the Dublin County (District Electoral Divisions) Regulations, 1971 (S.I. No. 17 of 1971) and this instrument specifies the townlands and/or other areas contained in each district electoral division.
