asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider transferring a public telephone box outside No. 10 Marino Park, Dublin 3 to another location in view of the nuisance being caused by the congregation of local youths there.

The telephone kiosk will be relocated as soon as possible after the necessary consents have been obtained to a suitable alternative site.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Terms will be quoted to the applicant as soon as normal postal services are resumed.

217.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs in respect of (a) Hillside Estate, (b) St. Mobhi Estate, (c) Northcliffe Heights Estate, (d) Downside Estate, (e) Mill Hill Estate, and (f) other parts of Skerries, County Dublin: (i) the number of applicants awaiting connection to a telephone service, (ii) the average length of waiting time, (iii) if cabling work is necessary and when it is anticipated that it will be carried out and (iv) when these applicants may expect to have telephone service provided.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when it is expected that the temporary telephone exchange at Skerries, County Dublin, will be operative and when applicants will receive connections to that exchange.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 217 and 218 together.

The new exchange was brought into service on 9 May.

Terms will be quoted shortly to 16 waiting applicants in Hillside Estate and some 50 in other parts of Skerries for whom cables are available. The information regarding other applicants in the areas mentioned is as follows:
