Vol. 314 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Aer Lingus Repair Facility.

19.

asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport the location of the proposed Aer Lingus repair facility; when it will be built; when it will be operational; and how many people will be employed.

(Dublin South-Central): The arrangements for the establishment of this project, which is expected to provide 600 new jobs, are a matter for Aer Lingus. As the arrangements have yet to be settled by the Company in consultation with the other interests concerned, it would not be possible for me to make any statement in the matter at this stage.
