Vol. 315 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Labour Exchange Conditions.

16.

asked the Minister for Labour if he is satisfied that conditions in the Victoria Street Labour Exchange, Dublin, are in compliance with regulations governing office premises.

This exchange is housed in an old building and there have been difficulties in ensuring that the premises are maintained in full conformity with the Office Premises Act, 1958. Alternative premises have been acquired for the exchange and it is the intention to move to these other premises as soon as possible. In the meantime I understand that a scheme of improvements which has been agreed with the staff is in hand and will be started in the next few weeks.
