Vol. 315 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 1 and No. 10—Votes 5 and Supplementary and Votes 46 and 47.

With your permission, Sir, I should like to raise on the adjournment of the House the following matter: the application of VAT to certain foods for coeliac suffers which are purchased from chemists' shops.

I will communicate with the Deputy during the afternoon.

I should like to raise on the adjournment the question of the future of Munster Chipboard in Waterford.

I will communicate with the Deputy during the afternoon.

A Government paper was issued on the 7 per cent wage agreement on Tuesday and the Opposition have not got copies of this document. We are entitled to see it without having to read it in the press the following morning.

I will take note of that.

Could I ask what the Taoiseach said?

I regret it happened. It was a short document and it was fully reported.

We do not know that unless we see it.

We are entitled to the courtesy of seeing it when it is issued to the press.

Has the Taoiseach any comment to make following the budget in Britain yesterday and the falling value of the punt?

(Interruptions.)
