Vol. 315 No. 7

Written Answers. - Offaly Water Scheme.

105.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from a person (name supplied) in County Offaly for a group water scheme, and if so, the reason for the delay in carrying out an inspection and consultation with the promoter.

There has been no delay by my Department in dealing with the proposed Clonbullogue No. 2 group water scheme. Survey sheets for the scheme were received on the 26 April 1979 and the area has been surveyed by my Department's inspector together with the promoter. Discussions are at present taking place between my Department's inspector and Offaly County Council regarding a source for the scheme and the group will be informed of the outcome.
