I have made inquiries in the matter and I am satisfied that the position is not as outlined by the Deputy. Medical, nursing and ambulance personnel have ready access to Ballymun. I understand, however, that some of the lifts in the tower blocks have not been in operation and this has necessitated greater use of the stairs. While this may cause inconvenience I am informed that there is no immediate danger to life as suggested by the Deputy.
On a point of order, I would like to draw the Taoiseach's attention to the fact that the document referred to by the Taoiseach is not in the Library.
