asked the Minister for Education the length of time prefabricated classrooms have been in use at each of the following national schools in County Meath: Skryne, Trim Boys, Maio, Nobber, St. Ultans Special School, Clonabey, Carnisle, Cannistown, Carnacross, Kentstown, Athboy, Kilcloon, Rathbeggan, Kiltale, Duleek, Batterstown, Rathfeigh, Boyerstown, Slane, Stamullan, Lismullan, Donacarney, Dangan, Gortloney and Whitecross and the schools in which the prefabricated classrooms will be in use in September 1979.

The information requested is as follows:—

asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to the proposal to replace the prefabricated classroom in use at Rathbeggan national school, County Meath, with a permanent building.

An extension of Rathbeggan national school, including the replacement of the prefabricated classroom, has been sanctioned and the school authorities have been authorised to employ an architect to prepare sketch plans. Submission of these plans is awaited.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to the proposal to replace the prefabricated classroom, in use at Skryne national school, County Meath, with a permanent building.

The provision of a new school building has been recommended by the Commissioners of Public Works and the school authorities have been asked to arrange for a site for the new school.

108.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to the proposal to replace the prefabricated classroom at Trim boys national school, County Meath, with a permanent building.

The question of replacing the prefabricated classroom at Trim Christian Brother's School is being considered in the light of proposals to replace the existing school with a new building.

I am at the moment awaiting a report from my Department's inspector and will inform the Deputy further in the matter as soon as possible.
