I understand that the Eastern Health Board have paid a subvention at the approved rate in respect of the period in March 1979 when the person was hospitalised.
In regard to the question of possible further financial assistance I understand that the person concerned is insured with the Voluntary Health Insurance Board but that so far no formal application has been made to the Voluntary Health Insurance Board for benefit in respect of the period in question. The Deputy might suggest to the person that such an application might be made.
