Vol. 316 No. 3

Written Answers. - Fairview (Dublin) New Housing Estate.

485.

asked the Minister for the Environment if the builders of the estate at Griffith Court, Fairview applied for CRV's on all houses in view of the fact that CRV's were granted in some cases, but were rejected in two cases (details supplied) although similar prices were paid for these houses.

Certificates of reasonable value have not been applied for in respect of approximately two-thirds of the houses in this estate. Applications were received for the two houses in question—that for the first mentioned house being unsuccessful while a CRV was granted for the second mentioned house. All the applications were determined on the basis of the standard criteria used in the assessment of reasonable value and I am satisfied that all decisions issued were consistent having regard to the information available at the time of the decision in each case.
