asked the Taoiseach the population of each townland in the district electoral divisions of Balbriggan, Balscadden, Swords East and Swords West, in the census of 1971 and 1979.

Information from the 1979 census of population relating to individual townlands will not be available until the final detailed area tabulations for district electoral divisions and wards are completed. It is anticipated, as indicated in a reply to a recent parliamentary question, that the final 1979 census figures for such areas will be published in January 1980.
Information on the population of individual townlands is, of course, available from the 1971 census and I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the information required from this census.
