The soldier in question was interviewed by his commanding officer on a number of occasions during the period 23 to 25 April 1975 in relation to certain activities. On the 25 April 1975 the commanding officer informed him that he proposed to recommend his discharge to the officer commanding the Command. He was discharged from the Defence Forces on the 13 June 1975.
