The market for skim milk powder in the EEC is currently rather tight and is expected to remain so for the first few months of 1980. Available supplies should, however, meet Community requirements in this period.
The sharp reduction in skim milk powder stocks in the EEC during the course of the year has been due to an improved market situation generally and to Community support to encourage the usage of skim milk, both in liquid and powder form, for animal feed purposes.
