asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to have a brucellosis grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Payment of grant in the case referred to by the Deputy has been made.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he has satisfied himself with the staff situation in the Cork offices of his Department which deals with the administration of the TB and brucellosis eradication schemes.

I am satisfied that following a considerable increase in numbers during the past year, the clerical staff in the office is adequate to deal with the schemes. The veterinary and technical staffs are being augmented as quickly as recruitment procedures permit.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in payment of an outstanding grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork, and when payment will issue.

Payment of this grant was inadvertently delayed but it has now been made.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to have a brucellosis grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Payment of grant in the case referred to by the Deputy has been made.
