asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have unemployment assistance paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The person concerned, who resides more than six miles from a local office of the Department, made a claim to unemployment benefit by post on 10 October 1979. He was requested in the normal way to furnish information concerning his last employment and his availability for work but he has not done so to date.

Entitlement to unemployment benefit will be determined immediately this information is received.
