No further meeting of the advisory group on Franco/Irish Sports Exchanges have taken place since 7 November 1978.
Following development of the scheme in 1977 and 1978 it was not considered necessary to consult the advisory group in 1979. The functions originally envisaged for the group are being carried out by the Department of Education in consultation with the sports organisations concerned.
