The total amount expended by the Industrial Development Authority and the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited in 1979 on the construction of advance factories in the underdeveloped or designated areas was about £7.5 million.
Whilst final figures are not yet available, I can assure the Deputy that expenditure by these two agencies on the building of advance factories in these areas in 1980 will be considerably greater than in 1979.
