Vol. 318 No. 6

Written Answers. - Meath New Schools.

399.

asked the Minister for Education the number of schools sanctioned for County Meath, the category of each school, if the necessary loans have been made available to enable commencement and, if not, when these will be made available.

Proposals have been approved for the provision of five new national schools and three new vocational schools in County Meath. The relevant financial grants will be made available at the appropriate time when contracts for the building work have been placed. It is not feasible to state at this stage when payment of grants will be required in the case of the schools.
