: The estimated increases in the contribution income of the Social Insurance Fund and Occupational Injuries Fund in a full year arising from (i) raising the earnings limit from £5,000 to £7,000 and (ii) by abolishing the earnings limit, are £30.5 million and £68.2 million respectively.
The figures for the full year relate to the income tax year 1980-81.
