Vol. 319 No. 3

Written Answers. - Nenagh County Hospital X-Ray Facilities.

239.

asked the Minister for Health if, in view of the cancellation of minor capital allocations for 1980, he will make a special financial contribution towards the cost of providing the much needed additional X-ray facilities at the County Hospital, Nenagh, County Tipperary.

The provision of the facilities referred to by the Deputy is primarily a matter for the Mid-Western Health Board.

The availability of funds for this project in the current year depends on the priority rating given to it by the health board in relation to other capital requirement.

My Department are at present in consultation with the health board in the matter and I will consider the position when these discussions have been completed.
