Notes:
1. All employees in the above grades except the staff at the Botanic Gardens and the Gardener at Ballyhaise College qualify for service pay at the of £0.50, £1.00, £1.50 and £2.00 weekly after 5, 10, 15, 20 years service respectively.
2. Since 1 July 1979 the grades listed at the Botanic Gardens except the Assistant Foreman and Gardener receive a subsistence allowance of £ 0.80 per working day and a daily travel allowance of £0.48.
3. The rates shown are inclusive of any allowances payable other than those mentioned at 2 above. Service pay, where applicable, is not included in the rates shown.
