The Commission's proposals consist of a package for the development of agricultural structures in the Community. No formal decision has yet been taken by the Council of Ministers on any of the proposals. A number of the proposals are at present being considered by the Council as part of a package including the 1980-81 price proposals. In this package the Commission during the course of the Council meeting on 27-28 April 1980 modified its proposals in some respects, notably by relaxing the conditions relating to the proposed ban on investment aid for production of milk and pigs and by increasing the maximum level of compensatory allowance proposed under the disadvantaged areas directive.
