Vol. 320 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Galway School Extension.

147.

asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the anxiety of the management, parents and pupils of St. Mary's College, Ballygar, County Galway, at the delay in sanctioning an extension to the school for which application was made in 1969.

I have approved an extension to St. Mary's College, Ballygar, to bring the overall capacity up to 225 student places. The tender documents are, at present, under examination in my Department. A communication in this matter will be sent to the manager of the school when this examination has been completed. In the meantime, I have arranged to meet a deputation from the school authorities.
