asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in the payment of a cattle headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

There was no delay in the payment of the cattle headage grant in this case. A payable order for the amount due to the herdowner was dispatched on 18 December 1979; it was presented for payment on 11 April 1980.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in the payment of a grant under the farm modernisation scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The grant will be paid shortly. There has been no undue delay in dealing with this application.
