Vol. 321 No. 3

Written Answers. - Payment of Pension.

193.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when payment of a pension will issue to a person (details supplied) in Dublin; and if he will expedite payment in this case.

The person concerned has been in receipt of a widow's contributory pension at the maximum rate from 30 April 1969. A pension order book at the pre-Budget 1980 rate of £18, payable from 4 April 1980, was issued in March 1980 to the designated post office for collection by her. A supplementary book for £4.50, in respect of the budget increase, has issued recently. It has been confirmed that the person concerned has collected her pension order books and is in receipt of her full pension entitlement.
