Vol. 321 No. 9

Written Answers. - Land Allocation.

353.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission intend to allocate the O'Mahoney estate at Ballinlonty, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, County Tipperary.

Possession of the property referred to has not in fact passed to the Land Commission. The position is that proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of the lands had reached an advanced stage when the owner died and the Land Commission are now about to enter into discussions with the new owner.
