asked the Minister for Agriculture the amount of the export subsidy for (i) lambs and (ii) ewes and hoggets for 1980.

The only export subsidy payable on sheep is in respect of wether lambs under the mountain lamb extension scheme. The rate of subsidy payable on eligible lambs exported on or before 30 April 1980 is £2 per head.
