The number of live applications for house improvement grants on hands at any given date is not available. The number of house improvement, solid-fuel and private water and sewerage grants paid in respect of houses in County Galway in each month subsequent to December 1979, is as follows: January, 141; February, 85; March, 16; April, 86. Figures for May are not yet available.
