With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 426 and 427 together.
Under the Local Government (Toll Roads) Act, 1979, the making of a toll scheme, together with any agreement with other persons for the financing, construction, management and operation of roads or bridges which are to be the subject of tolls, are reserved functions of the elected members of the local authority and are subject to my sanction. I have no such proposals before me.
