The total catch of sea-fish by Irish registered vessels in each of the years in question was as follows: 1977, 93,584 tonnes; 1978, 110,614 tonnes; 1979, 100,525 tonnes.
Under the terms of the development plan referred to in the Hague Agreement a landings target of 150,000 tonnes was established for 1979, that is double the 1975 actual figure of 75,000 tonnes.
