Vol. 322 No. 10

Written Answers. - Ballybunion (Kerry) Water Supply.

294.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has any plans to improve the water supply at Ballybunion, County Kerry.

The improvement of the water supply in Ballybunion is dependent on the following schemes planned by Kerry County Council: (1) North-East Kerry Regional Scheme—Stage II (Phase 2)—tenders for the civil works are under examination in my Department and tenders for the mechanical plant are being examined by the council. (2) Listowel Regional Water Scheme (Stages I and II)—contract documents for both stages of this scheme are under consideration in the Department.
