Vol. 324 No. 6

Written Answers. - School Transport.

248.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that eight children at Midcut, Drumkeen, County Donegal, are not getting free transport to Drumkeen national school, although this school is three miles from Midcut and the other nearest school is eight miles away; and if he will ensure that these children now get free transport.

These children live in the area of Meenbane closed school area which was amalgamated with Dooish national school. They are therefore entitled to transport to Dooish national school.

249.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that eight children in the Rossnowlagh area of County Donegal are not getting free transport to Ballintra national school; and if he will ensure that this will now be provided.

I am not aware of the names of the children referred to in the question. If the Deputy will supply details I shall have the matter investigated.
