asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of telephone kiosks that will be erected in County Kerry in 1981; and the proposed location of each.

It is planned to provide 15 kiosks in County Kerry during 1981, at the following locations:—

Ballyfinnane; Barry's Cross; Bothar Cuas; Blackwaterbridge; Caslagh; Dunquin; Fossa; Kilmoyley; Lisdorgan; Listowel (1); Six Crosses, Listowel; Stradbally; Tralee (2); Waterville.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) in County Dublin, who applied for service approximately three years ago.

Service to this applicant is dependent on cabling work being done in the area. Because of the volume of other engineering work requiring attention at present it is unlikely that service will be provided for at least another year.

370.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a medical doctor (details supplied) in Dublin.

It is expected that service will be provided for this applicant within the next six weeks or so.

371.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for a medical doctor (details supplied) in Dublin.

Terms have been quoted to this applicant and it is expected that service will be provided within the next month or so.

372.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a person (details supplied) in Dublin whose telephone has been out of order, on and off since February 1980, will have his telephone in working order; the rebate this person will get for not having the use of the telephone; is he is aware that many telephones in this area have been out of order for months; and the action he proposes to take in the matter.

Service has been restored and a rebate of rental will be allowed in a future account to cover the periods during which the subscriber has been without service. A number of subscribers lines in the area are unfortunately affected by underground cables faults but it is expected that service will be restored in all cases in the next few days.

373.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for Old Bawn Community school, Tallaght, County Dublin.

Telephone service has been provided for the existing community school at Old Bawn. The premises for the second community school are not yet ready for cabling. Service will be provided as soon as the building is sufficiently advanced to allow development to proceed.

374.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for a company (details supplied) who are employing ten people at present and who made application some years ago.

Terms have been quoted to this applicant and it is expected that service will be provided within two months of completion of the agreement.

375.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin who applied on 17 October 1978.

It is expected that service will be provided for this applicant within the next four months or so.

376.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a voluntary organisation (details supplied) in Dublin will receive a transfer of telephone service in view of the fact that social workers and other voluntary organisations who require jobs to be done urgently cannot contact this organisation.

It is expected that service on one of the two lines required will be provided within a month or so; service on the other line is dependent on new cabling which, because of the volume of other engineering work requiring attention in the Dublin area at present, is unlikely to be provided for about a year.

377.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when an applicant (details supplied) in Dublin applied for a telephone; if others in the same area who applied later have been supplied with telephones; and when the applicant will be offered a connection.

An application for telephone service at a former address was received in March 1978. An application cannot be traced in respect of the new address. It is possible to provide service at the new address and the applicant will be contacted to sign the necessary agreement.
