Provision of traffic lights is the responsibility of road authorities with the consent of, or at the request of, the Garda Commissioner. I understand that Dublin County Council propose to provide traffic lights at the location to which the Deputy refers. I have not received any representations regarding amendment of the Road Traffic (Signs) Regulations in relation to this matter.
