Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Pathway.

18.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware of the dangerous condition of a pathway along the Clonmany river, County Donegal, which is used by school children each day and that the county council state they have no responsibility for the repair and maintenance of this path; and if, in view of this and the urgency of having the path repaired, he will make special funds available to have it put into safe and good condition at the earliest possible date.

I understand that the pathway referred to in the question is on private property and has not been taken in charge by Donegal County Council. Decisions concerning the taking in charge of the pathway and its improvement would be matters entirely for the council.
