Vol. 325 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Water Supply Pressure.

26.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware of the poor pressure of the water supply to the house of a person (details supplied) in County Dublin and other houses in this area; and if he will take action to improve the supply.

The maintenance and operation of sanitary services schemes is a matter for the sanitary authority concerned. I understand from Dún Laoghaire Corporation that reduced presures in this area are due to high frictional losses in the old existing water main. I also understand that the corporation propose to renew the main and that this will result in an improvement to the supply.
