Certain details regarding the brief for this project are the subject of correspondence between my Department and the health board. The most recent letter from the board was submitted to my Department on 26 November 1980 and is under consideration. It is expected that the points at issue will be resolved and the brief approved shortly.
The availability of funds for the further planning of the project will depend on the 1981 capital allocation for Health and the various demands on the available funds.
