Vol. 325 No. 6

Written Answers. - Booterstown (Dublin) College Accommodation.

330.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the emergency arising from the urgent need for accommodation in Coláiste Iosagáin, Booterstown, County Dublin; whether the development section of his Department agreed on 15 May 1978 that a new building was needed; and whether he will sanction without delay the money required for the buildings, the revised plans for which have been submitted by the architect.

I have approved the provision of additional accommodation at Coláiste losagáin, Booterstown, County Dublin.

My Department authorised the manager on 6 November last to proceed to the developed sketch scheme stage of planning. When the manager has submitted her proposals in this regard they will be dealt with immediately.

The remaining stages of the planning process necessary to bring the project to the tender stage will be completed as expenditiously as possible so as to enable construction work to be commenced without delay.
