The extension of the Milebush group water scheme to take in the Ballivor area was approved by my Department and Mayo County Council in December 1979. Despite repeated reminders the group did not forward the completed grant application form G.W.41 in respect of the extra members until November 1980. Additional grants will be allocated to the group following revision of the estimated cost of the scheme by my Department's inspector.
