asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if the prospects of an applicant (details supplied) in Dublin who has been waiting six and a half years for a telephone service have improved.

The necessary cabling has been completed in the area recently and it is expected that service will be provided to this applicant within the next three months or so.

415.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if the prospects of applicants (details supplied) in Dublin for a telephone service have improved in view of the fact that they are old age pensioners.

Service is dependent on the completion of cabling and the provision of a new telephone exchange to serve the area. It is unlikely that it will be possible to provide service for at least another year.
