Vol. 326 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dundrum (Dublin) Road Improvement.

446.

asked the Minister for the Environment whether he has received any proposals from Dublin County Council in relation to the improvement of Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin 14, from a safety point of view; and whether he will consider sympathically any such proposals.

I have not received proposals from Dublin County Council for the improvement of Sandyford Road, Dundrum. The planning and execution of road improvement works at this location are matters wholly within the discretion of the council and would not require to be submitted for my sanction. Any such work would fall to be financed from the county council's own resources supplemented by the general (block) grant provided annually by my Department.
