asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism if he will give the following information in respect of each of the following items: (a) one sliced pan loaf, (b) one pint of milk, (c) one lb. of butter, (d) one kilo of sugar, (e) a packet of cornflakes and (f) a cylinder of gas, the consumer price on 1 July 1977 and the corresponding price on 20 January 1981; and the percentage price increase in respect of each item in that period.

The information requested by the Deputy is set out in a table which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to have circulated with the Official Report.
