Vol. 326 No. 1

Written Answers. - Claregalway (County Galway) National School Extension.

307.

asked the Minister for Finance when the proposed extension for Claregalway national school, County Galway will be completed; and if he will give details of the work remaining to be done before building commences.

308.

asked the Minister for Finance the present position regarding the proposed extension to Claregalway national school, County Galway.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take questions Nos. 307 and 308 together.

Preparation of working drawings for the proposed extension to Claregalway national school, County Galway has commenced. The completion of these, the preparation of a bill of quantities, the invitation of tenders and their subsequent examination, and the collection of the local contribution are the main processes which must be completed before a contract is placed. It is too early at this stage to say when building works will commence.
