Difficulties arose in this case as a result of the original rate of pension recommended being continued in payment, subsequent to the April 1980 renewal date, under an incorrect rating. The pensioner was, in fact, overpaid for part of the period mentioned by the Deputy and underpaid for the other part. There is a balance due to her which is in course of issue.
In view of the pensioner's incapacity, I am arranging for an officer of my Department to call to explain matters to her.
