Vol. 326 No. 3

Written Answers. - Offaly New School.

62.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to the building of the new primary school in Clonbullogue, County Offaly; if the school has gone to tender and, if so, the date; when tenders were received and the number received; if a contractor has been sanctioned to carry out the building and, if so, when work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that they are engaged at present in the preparation of working drawings for the proposed new school at Clonbullogue. The preparation of a bill of quantities would be the next phase of the procedure. It is not possible at this stage to indicate when tenders may be invited or when building work may commence.
