In the recent decision of the EEC Commission on the adjustments to boundaries of the disadvantaged areas, no changes were made in those in south west Cork. The Government have, however, decided that special assistance in the form of aids for drainage on a par with those available under the Western Drainage Scheme will be provided in the District Electoral Divisions of Terelton in Dunmanway Rural District; the DEDs of Kilcullen and Mountrivers in Macroom Rural District; the DEDs of Cullen, Derragh, Doonasleen and Knocknagree in Millstreet Rural District; and the DED of Boherboy in the Kanturk Rural District.
