Vol. 326 No. 4

Written Answers. - Cattle Headage Payments.

218.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the number of cattle headage payments for 1980 outstanding and unpaid in south west Cork on 1 January 1981.

It is not possible to furnish separate information for south west Cork, but in the disadvantaged area of County Cork as a whole, which comprises parts of south west Cork and mid-Cork, 1,141 applications under the cattle headage payments scheme remained to be dealt with at 1 January 1981; since then 723 have been cleared leaving 418 now outstanding.

Processing of the outstanding applications is proceeding.
